"Twogether"

The uniquely spelled "Twogether" is a literal reference of the two trees reaching so intently to finally be united. A very mysterious landscape of desire, stress and comfort where contrast abounds as foreground and background, model and pose work together, yet at odds, to complete a harmonious tranquility. The intended four-panel version of "Twogether" has the creative benefit of being joined together by a single piece of custom designed and cut wood. This connection allows for both a utility and ascetic addition. (see process images for an example of the joined four-panel canvas edition) As for the cropped version, my intent is to focus heavily on the substance that is offered and minimize the black, negative space that is also eliminated in the four-panel composition.
