The fourth image painted in this series, “Toes” is an exploration of texture and contrast. The landscape of this painting changes more than the seasons of the year, creating a feast for the eyes to devour. I allowed several curious imperfections to remain through to the final image. These significant ingredients are flavorful reminders of the humanity beneath the façade and evoke both wonder and curiosity.
