Red that heals. Red that burns. Red with life that twists and turns. The inspiration for my paintings come from many places and in this case, “Scarlet” was inspired by a magnificent piece of art displayed in a brief scene in a Hollywood film. The impact of this image was such that I felt that I must create something of my own from its essence. The overall vibe was passionate RED. I wanted to feel this passion with every cell that composed my being.
