If not for love, we are all but lost. “Nurture” is love enacted. This was my first time working with an expectant Mother. Wanting something fresh lead me to involve the father and create a loving and complete family vibe. I also chose to paint, shoot and crop the image in a way that is far less about the size of her full term belly. She delivered on schedule exactly one week after this painting was created. It's a boy and he's beautiful.
