An expression of inner conflict, “Inclement” explores the contrast between the screen of the external and turbulent internal self. The lighthouse was included in the painting to provide a sense of guidance and safety amidst such peril. My model for this image, Brandi, was very cooperative and inspirational. (An open eye variation is available in a very limited edition of ten pieces.)
