“Firm” exists because of one spontaneous night of painting with the assistance of several others. Two male models painted two females, then vice versa. I'm one of the models in the image. I have the green hands. Most of the images from this night were not the sort that I usually create and I was allowing for plenty of experimentation. “Firm” was a moment that I remember well and I'm so very pleased with its result. I have a strong affinity for human hands and I intend to create many more images with hands as the central focus.
